I have always had an interest in photography, but it wasn't until I had children did it become a true hobby of mine. It is one of the few hobbies I can do alongside of my children. There is nothing like documenting our life in photos. I have learned what I know all through reading and practice. I have never taken a photography class. I still have so very, very much to learn...
Not only do I love photographing our family, but I love taking photos for my extended family and friends. I shoot with a Canon 50D. I primarily use my Canon 50mm f/1.8 or my Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8. I have an Canon external flash, but I prefer to use natural lighting and only use a flash when absolutely necessary.
