Red Eye Studio QUILT giveaway! [ENDED]

Hi there!  I’m Heather. I’m a married mom of 6 kids, and the owner/operator at Red-Eyed Studio LLC.  My youngest child is 18 months old, my oldest child is 18 years (he graduates high school in 2 months! gasp).  We are big, busy family!

I have always enjoyed sewing.  There wasn’t much time to focus on sewing while I was busy having babies, but it’s been great to be back behind the sewing machine!  I do most of my sewing during nap time and in the evenings, after everyone has gone off to bed and the house is nice a quiet.  It’s wonderful to start and finish a project, and be able to stand back and say, “yeah, I made that!”

I’ve made many things for around my home: curtains, pillows, blankets, clothing for the girls (I love making skirts and cute little dresses!), Christmas pajamas for the whole family, etc.  So, if there is a project that you’ve been thinking about, shoot me an email.  I’d love to help you!

You can visit my shop at: www.etsy.com/shop/RedEyedStudio

  4. All of your things look so nice. I bet this will get even nicer and softer over time. I would probably give this as a baby gift, unless my kids steal it first!

  5. I'm entering! I'm a total wanna be quilter, no sewing machine (yet!) but big plans to sew quilts from baby clothing I've saved from my children in a few years when I have more time to learn. My plan for the quilt if I win it would be to give it as a gift, but I'm agreeing with the previous poster about the good possibility one of my little ones may snag it first :)

  7. Your quilts are so pretty. I took a class many moons again when my 4 kids were wee. They are all grown now and I am Grandma x4. Sadly I did not have the time or the expertise to follow through on the quilt and it never was completed. Pam Dennis

  11. Alright, I was so excited about this giveaway, but I see it is a baby quilt. Being that I have no babies at home right now, I would feel totally selfish asking for this for myself. But since it is so beautiful and any friend of Stephanie's must be a terrific person I am going to do all the above and pass it along to my friends. I hope the winner loves their quilt!

  46. I would give this to my two year old son, who loves soft warm blankies but does not like his feet covered. This will be the perfect blankie for him in his big boy bed and on the couch as he "reads" his library books about trucks. It is also the perfect size to throw over him when he sneaks out of bed and falls asleep on the floor.

  47. LOVE it!! I can already see it draped over the over-sized chair in my two year olds bedroom...perfect for nap, bed or cozy time. Fingers crossed! :)

  50. What a lovely quilt. I'd like to say I'd give it to my new nephew, but most likely this would go to my daughter who loves to snuggle and prefers to have smaller blankets on her bed than the normal twin size.
